Dean's Message


I want to personally welcome you to our website to learn more about the College of Nursing and Health Sciences at Auburn Montgomery.  Graduates from the College of Nursing and Health Sciences earn undergraduate degrees in the fields of nursing, medical and clinical laboratory science (MCLS) and communication disorders.  Nursing also offers a traditional Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing (BSN) an RN to BSN Program as well as a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) focused on preparation of Family Nurse Practitioners and Nurse Educators for Interprofessional Practice.  A Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) will commence in Summer, 2019.  
The College of Nursing and Health Sciences provides academic and professional programs at the highest level.  Our graduates distinguish themselves through service and leadership in healthcare fields for a diverse society.  At AUM, our students experience real life opportunities and practice skills in the classroom and laboratory setting which prepares them well for their work as a healthcare professional.  Through exemplary teaching, research, service and interprofessional community partnerships, the College engages with the greater community to be the premier nursing and healthcare resource for this region.
